Full-Year Program
REGISTRATION
Our Full Year Program honors the rigour of dance training by offering a 10-month program where our professional instructors, specialized in teaching dance for adults, progressively support students: to gain confidence; to build technique; to build community with a class cohort; and (in the performance classes) to create a unique choreography for our flagship June show. From pure beginner to advanced, the dancer/student will experience an evolution in their dancing, their sense of embodiment and discover a new sense of a community that moves more rather than it talks!

—————————————————————
Tap / West African / HipHop / Lyrical / Bellydance / Contemporary / Groove Jazz
Raino Dance 8 Week series are for those looking to add extra dance classes, try something new or those who can’t commit to our full year program.
—————————————————————
Beginner Tap Mondays North Studio 5-6pm with Dayna Szyndrowski
Beginner tap will introduce you to the fundamentals of the form, building on the previous 8-week session. We will focus on musicality, coordination, and basic footwork. In this 8-week session, you’ll also explore some tap dance history through traditional routines. Hard-soled tap shoes are advised. Flat lace-up styles are preferable to higher-heeled tap shoes. If tap shoes aren't an option, hard leather-soled shoes make a good substitute (no rubber soles, as they can stick to the marley and make learning less enjoyable).
—————————————————————
Beginner Hip Hop Mondays North Studio 7-8pm with Amanda Zink
Learn the basic movements of hip hop through grooving. With lots of repetition you will feel more comfortable with your body and the movements as you connect to the music and get your sweat on! Students can expect to get all the wild, sexy, pumped up moves of the Hip Hop world in a way that focuses on two things: having fun and getting sweaty!
—————————————————————
Open Level West African Dance Tuesday South Studio 8-9pm with Nikko Snow
Immerse yourself in the rhythms of West African dance and drumming! Explore the roots of Jazz, Hip Hop and Tap while in engaging in lively, high-energy movements. Feel the pulse in your body while staying relaxed and connected to the ground or add a lighter element to the dance by leaping. Above all, experience the joy of dance while finding your own groove to the beautiful infectious drum beats. This is an open level class and everyone is welcome! Generally, dancers wear cool, comfortable clothing and dance in bare feet. Dancers are also encouraged to bring water bottles.
—————————————————————
Beginner Lyrical Thursday North Studio 5-6pm with Sophia Harrington
Lyrical focuses on connecting emotion to music and lyrics through dance often by dancing to epic and emotional songs. Lyrical is an excellent outlet since it provides a fun and healthy way of releasing pent up stress and emotions through dance. Lyrical uses a mix of movements and technique from ballet, jazz, and contemporary.
—————————————————————
Open Level Bellydance Thursday North Studio 8-9 pm with Sahar Nourhan
This open-level belly dance class is designed to ensure dancers of all levels feel supported, challenged, and successful. Whether you are building a strong foundation or refining advanced skills, instruction is thoughtfully structured so everyone can learn and grow together.
Please bring a hip scarf or belt to help you better see, hear, and feel your movements.
Come ready to move, learn, and enjoy the journey—no matter your level!
—————————————————————
Back To TAP Thursday South Studio 8-9pm with Alex Nicoll
Calling all former tappers! Want to get back to tap? Let’s rekindle the joy with groovy rhythms and build on prior knowledge of footwork & technique. Dust off those shoes and shuffle in
to work on steps old and new. Music, dance, and mini combos will be our percussive playground.
—————————————————————
Beginner Contemporary Sunday South Studio 11-12pm with Dyana Sonik-Henderson
Movers are welcomed to explore creative processes of movement, improvisation and choreography creation with a variety of exercises that will get their bodies and brains working. Principles of falling, release, isolation, inversion, floor and center work will encourage body and self-awareness. The class will use "scores", imagery and metaphors for letting the movers find new ways to nurture movement and release unconscious holding patterns.
—————————————————————
Open Level Groove Jazz Sundays South Studio 12-1pm with Dyana Sonik-Henderson
One of our most requested styles. Groove Jazz celebrates the roots and rhythms of Jazz. This class is grounded with high cardio element and is filled with play, musicality and rhythmical puzzles.
